Privacy Policy

This policy describes how MissedCall MD and the participating businesses listed in the SMS Terms handle information collected through the text-message assistant.

Information we collect

Your phone number, the content of the text messages you send, and appointment details you provide (such as your name and requested service and time).

How we use it

To reply to your messages, help you book appointments, notify the business's front desk, and keep a log of the conversation for the business you contacted.

Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers

Messages are delivered through Twilio. Replies are generated with the assistance of Anthropic's Claude model. Appointment bookings are created in the business's scheduling system. These providers process data only to provide the service.

Retention

Conversation logs are retained by the business you contacted for its records. You may request deletion by contacting that business or emailing andrew@missedcallmd.com.

Messaging disclosures

Consent to receive text messages is given directly to the business you contacted, by calling or texting its number. Message frequency varies, typically 1–10 messages per conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
